Policy
Review policy
Last updated September 2026.
Who can leave a review
Only someone who sent an inquiry through We Shift Legal and had it accepted or completed by the lawyer receives a review invitation.
Each inquiry allows one review, and every published review is marked as a verified client.
What we ask about
We ask about communication, responsiveness, respect, clarity and the overall experience, plus optional written feedback.
We never ask whether the lawyer won the case, and a rating is never used to call any lawyer the best.
Ratings we show
A Client Experience rating appears once a lawyer has at least three published reviews.
Google ratings, when available through an authorized integration, are shown separately and attributed to Google.
Responses, moderation and appeals
Lawyers may publish one response to each review. Reviews are checked before publication for personal information, threats and unlawful content.
A lawyer who believes a review is inauthentic or unfair may appeal it, and our team reviews the appeal and records the outcome.
